Dr. Dwight J. Friesen comes to us from the Lake Hills neighborhood of Seattle’s Eastside, though he was born and raised in Manitoba. Dwight is an author, professor, and facilitator; currently teaching practical parish theology at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology, is faculty director of the Leadership in the New Parish think-tank, and works closely with the Parish Collective hosting the annual Inhabit Conference. His writings include Thy Kingdom Connected, and Routes & Radishes, and The New Parish. Over the last few years Dwight and his colleagues have walked hundreds of parishes all over the world, and he will be offering discoveries from new local churches that are experimenting with collective faithful presence within their neighborhoods.
